No brand exudes as much class, innovation, and reliability as Mercedes-Benz trucks. For decades, the star has been a symbol of quality on the road. From the powerful Actros to the rugged Arocs. Drivers and transport companies choose Mercedes not only because of the technology, but also because of the comfort, safety, and the sense of prestige that each journey brings. The iconic star on the grille is more than just a logo; it’s a sign of pride. On this page, we’d like to tell you more about Mercedes trucks.

Mercedes-Benz was founded in 1926. But don’t go thinking they’ve ‘only’ been around for a century. The company came into being when the firms behind the first car with an internal combustion engine, Benz, and the first lorry, Daimler, merged. Daimler was already using the name of the Austrian importer’s daughter, Mercedes, as its brand name. Recently, the lorry and passenger car divisions were separated. Daimler has since returned as the group name, but the brand name remains Mercedes-Benz.
Mercedes-Benz has grown significantly through various acquisitions. These include Freightliner, Western Star, Setra, Thoms Bus, Hanomag-Henschel, Unimog and Fuso (Mitsubishi’s commercial vehicle division). The Swiss brands Saurer and Berna were transformed into NAW, which began manufacturing specialised Mercedes products. A new brand was also established for the Indian market: BharatBenz. In China, there is close collaboration with Foton.
The main Mercedes-Benz commercial vehicle plant is located in Wörth (Germany). Here, alongside the Actros and Atego, the eActros and Arocs also roll off the production line. In a dedicated plant on the same site, the Mercedes-Benz Econic, eEconic, Zetros and all versions of the Unimog are manufactured.
Mercedes therefore has a wide range of models. We have listed the Mercedes lorry models available in our stock for you below.
This is Mercedes-Benz’s flagship model, now in its sixth generation. Alongside the striking ProCabin, which features on the Actros L and the eActros, the more conservative cab of the MP5 is also still available, with or without mirrors. The first-generation Actros was launched back in 1996. The truck was named ‘International Truck of the Year’ in 1997 (MP1), 2004 (MP2), 2009 (MP3), 2012 (New Actros), 2020 (with mirrorcams) and 2025 (eActros 600).
Since the Vario has more or less been replaced in the range by the Fuso Canter, the Atego is Mercedes’ lightest genuine lorry. It is, in every respect, the Actros’ lighter sibling. The Mercedes Atego succeeded the Ecoliner in 1998 and was named ‘Truck of the Year’ in 1999 and 2011.
The ‘toughest’ Mercedes is the Arocs. It was unveiled at the same time as the ‘New Actros’ – colloquially known as the MP4 – and the Mercedes-Benz Antos. The Mercedes Arocs is the ultimate construction vehicle among Mercedes-Benz lorries. The Arocs is recognisable by its striking grille and extra-sturdy bumpers. You’ll therefore mainly come across them in the construction industry – as tippers, concrete mixers or, for example, heavy-haul tractor units.
